BODYWORK WITH STICK PLATFORM
The bodywork of the UMIKOV NKD 15 truck is designed in such a way that a hydraulic loading crane is mounted on the rear of the truck.
A space is then created between the vehicle cab and the hydraulic loading crane for storing the timber cuttings. The length of the loading area depends on the basic dimensions of the truck chassis.
The bodywork can be constructed in two variants, either with a floor (if cutouts shorter than 2 m are envisaged) or without a floor – only crossbars with ramps (transport of cutouts from 2 m upwards). One of the advantages of a floorless bodywork is its lighter weight.
The truck is also equipped with a trailer hitch for the removal of timber cuttings.
